The Founders:
Varibasics was founded in 2024 by Stephanie Sabino and her husband, Matt, with one clear mission: create products that save time, stay organized, and make busy days feel effortless.
As a VP at a plumbing supplier and mom to two active kids, Stephanie knows the nonstop juggle firsthand. After getting tired of hauling a laptop bag, purse, lunch tote, and more—and finding no stylish option that did it all—she decided to design her own.
With Matt’s software engineering background and Stephanie’s eye for practical, polished design, they launched the Alira Backpack: a sleek, multitasking bag built for real life. Today, they’re growing Varibasics to deliver smart, high-end essentials that help women move through every role with confidence.
